Cocaine a chemist graduate student at Gottingen university Albert Niemann first described the isolation of cocaine from coca leaves in 1860. Cocaine toot off and by 1880 cocaine was the talk of the town claimed to cure morphine addiction and even impotence but it doesn't do much more than give you a short lived stimulation of euphoric excitement. A australian ophthalmologist Carl Koller discovered cocaines properties as a local anesthetic on the eye which was a breakthrough and eventually replaced with now a day novocaine in 1905.Ajouté au bande de temps:
