26 févr. 1483 - Martin Luther (1483-1506)
Description:
Martin Luther is arguably the most important man in Protestant history. He began by attacking the sale of indulgences, which were just bringing in more wealth for the Pope and church. His views of the corruption, greed and overall questioning of the church were printed, which is the reason that they spread so quickly and widespread. He mainly advocated for the reading of the Bible, as he believed it was the only true source of information. Tons of people began following Luther's, and he was important because he kickstarted the entire protestant reformation. (4.2)
