Description:

British slave trade ended in 1833, and this came along with an attempt to stop illegal slave trade as well. They did this by patrolling the African coasts to keep the trade to an utmost minimum and conducted countless search and seizure operations on slave traders. Although slavery does not exist officially, over 200 million people still live in a form of servitude today. (4.1, 4.2)
