Description:

Octavian marches on Rome with c.3,000 veterans raised in Campania. Tries to stage a coup, presenting himself as the man to save Rome from Antony (the consul) and declares his intention to win his father's honours (ie dictatorship). It fails miserably, so he flees Rome.
