1 mai 1964 - BASIC
Description:
On May 1, 1964, Thomas Kurtz and John Kemeny created BASIC (Beginner’s All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code), an easy-to-learn programming language for their students at Dartmouth College who had no prior programming experience. Over a decade later, most early personal computers were shipped with a version of BASIC embedded in their system, which opened up programming to an entirely new audience.
