12 avr. 1861 - Jefferson Davis - Orders Bombardment on Ft. Sumter
Description:
Jefferson David's orders of attacking Ft. Sumter was his largest impact, because that was basically the official call for war. Even though tensions were at an all-time high, his orders to attack the Fort was what blew it up. If he didn't order to attack the Fort, there might've been a chance where he and Lincoln could have done something peacefully. But in case of both stubborn leaders, neither decided to back down, and with Davis's official call to not let supplies into the Fort, that's what started the physical part of the war.
