Yikes! On the wonderful day of my father's birthday, I received my first period. Having been on the track of maturing early and developing at a faster pace compared to others my age, it was only natural that my body would react physically as well. Having been told from my mom the idea of "getting my period," I was easily able to reasonally deduct that I was going through puberty.
