Description:
Lexington and Concord were the battles that kick-started the beginning of the American Revolutionary War. Beginning in Lexington, a battle between 700 British troops vs. 77 militiamen resulted in 8 dead and 9 wounded militiamen dead and one redcoat injured. A fire broke out in Concord and the “shot heard round the world” was fired. The British later retreated back to Lexington resuming the fight, but got away when they reached naval support in Charlestown Neck.
