Description:

Letters arrived from the well known town of Tockford, located just south of the Fel-Sung Mountains and to the west. The town, which is well known for breeding the best horses in the kingdom, had many of the surrounding stables broken into and their horses killed or taken. Later, it is found out the the thing killing the horses was a Gryphon that had been pushed out of the mountains and down to the vally below.
