He ran a campaign that included bold claims of building a border wall, cutting taxes, and “Draining the swamp.” He is criticized by people from both sides of the isle for making brash, hurtful comments about groups of people and individuals alike. While in office he has passed tax cuts and is in the process of trying to get a border wall built. He is make with stark opposition by democrats whenever he wants to pass a law, and a large portion of Americans would say that he is the most divisive president in modern history. He is also criticized for making factually incorrect statements and purposely lying to the American people. He is praised because the economy has been successful during his time in office but he is still a very controversial president and will be for the course of the nations history.
