Description:
On Dec. 15, 1964 , a new Canadian flag won the approval of Parliament. A country's national flag represents and symbolizes that country. This modern flag consisted of a red maple leaf on white background between two red bars, that have come to symbolize unity, tolerance, and peace.
"We are one.
We are all.
We are the True North.
We are Canada."
