4 juill. 1776 - Declaration of Independence
Description:
The Declaration of Independence is the statement adopted by the Second Continental Congress meeting at the Pennsylvania State House, now known as Independence Hall, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This document sates that all men are created equal and there are certain unalienable rights that governments should never violate. These rights include the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. When a government fails to protect those rights, it is not only the right, but also the duty of the people to overthrow that government.
