Description:

The Korean war was a battle between communist China and North Korea and the United States. Again the United States was fighting to control the spread of communism. Over 35,000 Americans died in the war before a stalemate and an armistice was reached. Almost nothing happened because of the war and things were very much the same between the 3 countries after, but American foreign policy did change. Instead of fighting open wars they began to rely more on covert operations and alliances to combat communism after the Korean war.
