15 déc. 1791 - Bill of Rights
Description:
The Constitution specified how the government would be run and how power would be distributed among the branches, but some states felt this was not enough protection. These states created what is referred to as the Bill of Rights. It assured the people of their individual rights including the right to free speech, the right to bear arms, and the trial to a Fair trial. Some of the rights we take for granted today are guaranteed to us by The Bill of Rights.
