10 mai 1775 - Second Continental Congress

Description:

Following the battles of Lexington and Concord, the colonies met to discuss what their best option would be against Parliament. During the Second Continental Congress on May 10, 1775, the colonies passed resolutions supporting war that included a sharp rejection of all authority under the king of England. The colonies also created the Continental Army, which would be led by George Washington. The congress was beginning to behave like the government of an independent nation.
