After eight years of journeying in the wilderness the Lehites arrived on the coast of the Arabian sea (having traveled nearly eastward after Ishmael's death).This would have happened sometime in the year 592. It was likely later in the year, allowing them time to rest from the journey before they build the ship, starting the next spring.
