Description:

The French Revolution may not have been quite as prominent during 1787 but the unjustly treated commoners of France were fed up with the tyrannical government and dictatorship. The revolution started after the peasants of France were starving and given no food by the government along with continuous high taxes placed on the commoners by the government. During the start the government called a meeting of the Estates General which is when it all started. The third estate after long debates about voting and if it should be done by head or by estate gave up trying and instead left and called themselves the national assembly and they threatened to continue without the first two estates. Eventually the revolution came in full and ended with the execution of the king leaving France free from tyranny and was now a republic.
