21 mai 2003 - Celtic lose the 2003 UEFA cup final to FC Porto in Seville after extra time. It is reported that up to 80,000 Celtic fans were in the city in what UEFA called "the largest travelling support to have assembled for a single game". Celtic would receive a FIFA Fair Play award the following season for the behaviour of their fans.
