8 avr. 1600 - -------------P1------------- Colombian Exchange

Description:

The Colombian Exchange was the trading of materials from the Old World to the New World and vise versa. It created diversity among food, plants, but also disease. Some of the most important exchanges from the New World to the Old world were potatoes and corn. Lots of livestock like cattle and sheep came to the New World, but so did diseases like smallpox, influenza and Malaria. These diseases heavily impacted Native tribes and wiped out many indigenous populations in the Americas.
