Recognised the authority of 300 Princes. It added Calvinism to tolerated religions in HRE, expanding on the Peace of Augsburg, and Edict of Nantes. Established freedom of religious worship. Each prince could choose his own religion. Most of Northern HRE= Protestant, Southern HRE= Catholic.
