Today I decided to wear my favorite Adidas hoodie that I bought after seeing someone on Instagram from England wearing the same one. I wouldn't even own this hoodie if it weren't for the cultural effects of globalization. Adidas is a global corporation meaning they export products all around the world and if Adidas didn't become so popular in Canada, they wouldn't have made Canadian stores and I would not have been able to buy this hoodie. The other cultural effect was the fact that I was able to go online and communicate with someone across the world and see them wear the sweater first.
