20 h 28 août 2004 ans - Maggie fails a suicide attempt, Abraham almost kills her. (Issue 55) (Issue 56)

Description:

- Day 406
- The group eats dinner around their campfire after having moved a large wreck from the road. Eugene writes down notes about the weak zombie. Rick tells him their words 'roamers' and 'lurkers' for the zombies, and that lurkers wait around for you but are nothing like the weak one was earlier.
- Glenn gets up to go and find Maggie because she has been gone for a little too long. He walks into the woods alone and calls out for her. When he turns around he discovers her hanging by the neck from a tree. He screams out in horror, attracting the rest of the group. Abraham cuts her down whilst Glenn holds on to her. She isn't breathing.
- Abraham tells Glenn that he has to put her down before she turns. Glenn isn't going to give up and attempts CPR. Abe drags him away and points his gun to Maggie's head. Glenn punches him in the jaw so Abe retaliates by punching him in the stomach, sending him to the floor. Rick points his gun at Abraham and tells him that she may not be dead yet.
- Suddenly Maggie sits up with a deep gasp which causes Abraham to jump up and almost shoot her. Glenn holds her tightly and screams at Abraham that she's alive. Maggie tells Glenn she's sorry in a strangled, broken voice.
- Later that night, Andrea asks Dale how Maggie is doing. Her voice is screwed but she only blacked out for a while. Andrea worries about what Sophia would do if she ever lost her new mom. Dale worries this same thing about Billy and Ben every day.
- Abraham takes over Rick's night shift and congratulates him for saving Maggie's life. He warns Rick that he'll kill him if he ever points a gun to his head again. Rick tells him he won't hesitate to pull the trigger next time he makes him do that and walks away.
- Maggie doesn't want to talk about what she did.
