7 h 15 juin 2004 ans - Carl kills three roamers on his own. (Issue 50)

Description:

- Day 332
- Carl wakes up next to Rick who is still unconscious. He checks Rick's temperature and cools his forehead like his mother used to do. He starts to cry again and furiously curses at Rick to wake up. This grabs the attention of two roamers outside who start tapping on the window.
- Carl sneaks outside around the back of the house and lures the roamers away. He goes around a corner and tries to sneak into another house when a third roamer attacks him from behind. He falls to the floor and kills the first roamer, followed by the second who both land on top of him. The third takes two shots and makes him roar up vomit. He looks upon his work and smiles with pride.
- He returns home and tells Rick (who is still unconscious) about what he did. He doesn't believe he needs his father to protect him anymore because he can look after himself better than anyone could. And Rick couldn't protect Lori, Judith, Alice, Tyreese, Donna, or anyone. He thinks he will be fine if Rick dies and tells him to just do it before slumping down and falling back to sleep.
