5 oct. 1970 - The October Crisis

Description:

The rise of the FLQ and the War Measures Act occurred at this time. The FLQ were fighting for separatism because they didn't was quebec to be part of Canada. When they started to kidnap, kill and bomb, Trudeau went to drastic measures and if anyone on the streets looked french they were arrested. This labeled Canada as a fearless country and kind of showed the world that you should act quick on conflicts and threats before something catstrophic happends.
