The “Third Way” is an economic theory that attempts to balance the left and right by implementing a mixture of center-left and center-right economic policy in an attempt to create an extremely centrist government. The third way came off the back of neo-conservatism and was an attempt to re-balance the economy. A notable advocate for the Third Way is former President Bill Clinton. Within the United states, the third way was described as embracing fiscal conservatism while staying economically liberal.
