The Great Plague was the bubonic plague in Italy, Spain, and England in the 1600's. This wiped out 14% of Italy's population, around 20% of England's, and about 1.25 million deaths in Spain. After the disease left, population boomed. This is a continuity, the plague comes up every once inawhile, and after it the population boosts.
