Description:
Ferdinand Magellan was a Portuguese explorer who sailed for Spain and was killed in the Philipines on his journey circumnavigating the world. A majority of his men including himself died in a war with locals in the Philipines. The 18 that lived went back to Spain after a 3 year journey.
