Description:

I met the king again when I went to the palace to photograph him in his official dress, ahead of his coronation. He posed in front of an oil portrait of his grandfather, King Ali, wearing Arab clothes. They wanted a photograph of him in similar dress for a painting they planned to commission. We had a problem with the electricity, and he just took off his jacket and sword and fixed it. I found him pleasant and down to earth. The prince regent too. We had a nice coffee together afterwards
