During J'Shearra's first encounter with Gondul, one of Molag Bal's dark anchors plunged itself deep into the ground not far away from where the two stood.

Gondul, eager to combat the fiends that murdered his best friends, and irritated that he did not previously attack with Occidere, decides to advance on the anchor with some Ebonheart Pact soldiers.

J'Shearra joined him, and after a brief yet intense skirmish, Gondul is struck down by a daedric axe.

J'Shearra manages to heal him and get him back on his feet, however, and the group successfully repels the invading daedric forces.

It was a close call, but a victory nonetheless.
