Description:

- Day 331
- Rick looks after Judith whilst Lori sleeps. Billy fires off a shot and calls out that a truck's approaching. They all rush outside and find a cargo truck pulling up to the gate, they pray for it to be Tyreese and Michonne but out comes the Governor and Gabe.
- The Governor opens the back of the cargo truck and pulls a sheet off of the beaten, shirtless body of Tyreese. The Governor pulls out Michonne's katana and lies about having her captive too, so if he dies, she will die. He orders them to open the gate and come back with them or he does something horrible to Tyreese. Tyreese tells them not to let him in and is hit on the back of the head by Philip.
- Getting no response, Philip slams the sword down on Tyreese's neck, getting stuck. He yanks it out and drives it in again. Rick tells the group that there's nothing they can do, and maybe Michonne can escape in this time. The Governor decapitates Tyreese and kicks his head off the truck. They leave his body for the roamers when Billy starts firing off shots at them, barely missing the Governor. They speed off to safety.
- Rick tells Lori about Tyreese's death. She is outraged and in tears about how Rick did nothing to stop it.
- Carl eats breakfast and asks Axel why everyone's upset. He tells Carl to ask Rick. Rick tells Carl about Tyreese's death. Carl isn't upset because he knew he would die eventually. Rick gives Carl the bag of canned food to look after, not to run with if things go south. He tells Carl to stay with his mother.
