The Congress of Vienna, was an assembly from 1814 to 1815 that reorganized Europe after the Napoleonic Wars. The objective of the Congress was to provide a long-term peace plan for Europe by settling critical issues arising from the French Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Wars. The Congress of Vienna was a victory for conservatives. Kings and princes resumed power in country. During the Congress of Vienna, the leaders met to redraw the boundaries of countries overtaken by Napoleon and to redistribute land to prevent future uprisings.
