25 août 2011 - An email chain predominantly between Gary Withey on behalf of Rangers and accountancy firm Saffery [Champness] illustrates that HMRC were by now concerned about the VAT position. Shows also that while Rangers had accepted there was a liability to pay tax and NI on the Wee Tax Case/DOS liability, they were still looking at ways to buy time or perhaps by challenging the calculation
