Description:
- One of the new weapons that was used in WWI was poison gas.- On April 22, 1915 Germany released chlorine gas.
- The wind blew the gas, resulting in the death of 5,000 French and Algerian troops within five minutes.
- RESULTING FROM THIS, GERMANY BROKE THE FRENCH DEFENSIVE LINE, WHICH LED TO THE END OF THE BATTLE.
