Description:

Ishmael was in Kamator, and stayed for two week. Two weeks that felt like months for him. One night, the rebels attacked Kamator unexpectedly at night while a prayer was in progress, the people escaped and went to hiding in the forest, Ishmael hid on a bush and saw the rebels asking the imam to tell them where were the people of the village. The imam refused to tell them, so the rebels tied him up and burned him alive. This was the first time Ishmael saw the extreme violence that the war the rebels were propagating, it was the was the first time he saw someone die. Then he escaped to the forest.

#3 event in the novel: We chose this one because this is where Ishmael sees a person die, and observes how inhuman the rebels are. This also is Ishmael goes on a journey by himself through the forest.
