15 mai 1773 - Tea Act
Description:
In 1773, Parliament passed the Tea Act, which let the British East India Company sell tea directly in the colonies. This lowered the price of tea, but it also took money away from colonial tea merchants. The prime minister also refused to take back the Townshend Acts’ tax on tea.
