Instead of focusing on partying and money, Lamar wrestles with complex life questions throughout his albums. His most recent album, DAMN. received rave reviews and awards. DAMN was also the first non-jazz and non-classical album to win a Pulitzer Prize for Music. This along with his other accomplishments prove Lamar's status as a unique creator of meaningful music.
