15 août 2011 - HMRC reply to MCR stating: - the payment schedule is not acceptable - 3 years is too long - too much in the offer is speculative - sight of the cashflow is needed - no reduction or suspension of interest/penalties It warns: "Given that the club have agreed the liability is in fact due... it is in the club's interests to make immediate payment." It then states: "If the current situation persists, HMRC will give consideration to enforcement for non-payment."
