16 févr. 1930 - The Motion Picture Production Code (Hays Code)

Description:

The Motion Picture Production Code, also known as the Hays Code, was named after Will H. Hays, who was the president of the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America (MPPDA) from 1922 to 1945.
The code presents a set of industry moral guidelines of what is acceptable and unacceptable content for Motion Pictures. It was applied to most U.S. motion pictures released by major studios from 1930-1968, including live-action and animation.
