Description:
In the year 63 BC, the Roman Empire conquered Israel, renaming it to Judaea, enslaving and killing thousands of Jews. Many Israelites escaped to other places because they were scared, while others conducted uprisings. In response to the rebels, the Romans harshly destroyed Jerusalem. At some point many years later, the Jews got permission to build temples.
