3 août 1804 - Barbary Pirate Wars
Description:
In the beginning of August of 1803, the U.S started to take part in a series of small battles called the "Barbary Pirate wars" against some North African Kingdoms in which U.S ships were being captured by them (ex: USS Philadelphia captured in Tripoli Harbor 1803). This event was critical because showed how the U.S faced other foreign nations outside of their usual boundaries. Engaging in wars with other nations (Global conflict) shows how each and every decision made can affect something else somewhere in the world. If the outcome of these wars were in different, then It could have had an effect somewhere else in the world. The swedish also played a role in heling the U.S, showing how other foreign nations outside of the U.S got invloved.
