6 mars 1824 - Tolls and repair to national road 1824
Description:
Monroe ensured that the road that stretched from Cumberland, MD to Wheeling, WV was to be equipped with tolls and repaired whenever necessary. The new employment of the act encouraged trade within the country, which overall unified the country as it increased relations and interactions between states that were too far to communicate otherwise.
