Description:

Many Jewish prophets urged the Jews to obey the Hebrew Scriptures while living in exile.The king of the persian empire controlled most of Southwest Asia. Cyrus allowed the Jews to go home. Many Jews return to Judah. Jewish leaders began to build the Second Temple in Jerusalem.
