Description:
Angered by the unreasonable tax burden placed upon lower class farmers post-war, Daniel Shay and 1200 other angry farmers staged a coup attempting to take control of a federal arsenal in Massachusetts. They were met with government troops, who opened fire on the rebels, who quickly dispersed afterwards.
