The Burning of the Alexandria Library was a consequence of Julius Caesar siding with Cleopatra and trying to get too cocky and ended up setting the library on fire. This was the most famous and significant library of the ancient world. The Burning of the Alexandria Library was important because it was the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world.
