Description:

Either in 1493 or 1494 Henry VII had an embargo on trade with the Netherlands. This was due to his insecurity stemming from Margaret of Burgundy's support of pretenders. Merchants were required to go through Calais for trade. This was solved with the Intercursus Magnus
