Description:
A set of measures to improve relations with the American Indians by granting the US government sole authority to regulate interactions between Indians and non-Indians. Designated all US lands west of the Mississippi river, except Louisiana, Missouri, and Arkansas territory, as Indian territory, however this slowly shrank.
