Description:
In 1763, Prussia developed and implemented a modern school system into their society. Through Frederick the Great's royal decree, the General School Regulation declared that children ages 5 to 14 will be educated. This school system enforced the teachings of topics that can be found today in modern schools; Singing, reading, writing, and religion were taught in Prussian schools. The information and knowledge that was being taught was regulated by the state, granting schools with textbooks.
