Description:
- Day 268- Austin hears that there might have been an escape and pieces together what might have happened by late afternoon. Marianne Williams tells him about her awkward encounter with Stevens before he went missing and how he seemed nervous before quickly leaving to join Alice and a number of unidentified people who were waiting for him.
- Austin tells Lilly and they figure that Alice and Stevens left with the strangers and Martinez which seems out of place. A figure approaches them from outside the wall and they quickly identify it as Dr. Stevens. Lilly starts to cry and believes that he had seconds thoughts about leaving. Austin thinks the strangers killed him.
- The biter leans against a chain link fence and, after taking a moment to get herself together, is shot by Lilly. They dig a grave for him.
