30 déc. 1908 - Genetics
Description:
Archibald E. Garrod proposed the hypothesis that certain diseases could be inherited from the genetics of a person’s parents. He believed that just as no two people looked exactly alike, the chemistry of a person’s body could be just as individual and was the cause of a person’s genetics. Although his ideas were not initially accepted at the time, scientists came around to realize the reality of genetic diseases.
