1 janv. 2011 - Elementary and Secondary Education (ESEA) Flexibility

Description:

The ESEA Act Flexibilty has been a temporary application to assist public schools unable to me the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) measures that were grossly unattainable for most of schools. Under the Obama Administration, public could request an exemption from NCLB policies. Applying public school need to submit a plan on how they would reform curriculum, assessments and instructor evaluations. The reforms would need to demonstrate that college/career-readiness, inclusion and differentiation, as well as, standards alignment (like to common core). Under ESEA Act Flexbility, there are little specifics on how English learner (ELs) cultural, linguistic and academic needs. Most ELs were categorized as "at-risk" students.
